Is there anything nicer in this world than strawberries picked in grandmothers garden and put together with milk in a bowl? Midsummer Nights Dream ... Red, sweet and juicy – the berry queen has been desirable at all times. Strawberry seeds were found even in the Stone Age buildings of archaeological excavations. In ancient times healers had a saying: "In a house, where strawberries are eaten, doctors have nothing to do." This magical berry is full of vitamin A, C and K, as well as the beta-carotene and folic acid. Strawberries, eaten on an empty stomach, give more energy than coffee. Their fructose provides the body with an immediate inflow of strength. These berries also contain very much manganese, which promotes metabolism and formation of bones and blood. Small yellow seeds are valuable fibre, which promotes the processes of metabolism.
