Aseptic Packaging System
Aseptic filling is the next step after the the pasteurization of the juice. This means that at the time of the packaging of the product, the packaging material, equipment and conditions must be absolutely sterile and free of harmful bacteria. It is triple safety - sterile product poured into sterilized package under hygienic conditions. During the process the juice is filled into the packaging machine through a closed system. There it is poured into a lightproof and airtight tetra-pack. Such packaging system keeps products fresh and tasty for a long time.
Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for brain and the whole body. They are responsible for the maintenance of stable body weight.
Concentrate
The concentrate is made by squeezing juice from specially selected high-quality fruit in the region where they grow. Then the juice is evaporated or frozen, so removing most of the water. Thus, the juice is concentrated or thickened. This allows to store and transport the juice easier. This way it is possible to maintain the juice’s natural colour, flavour and fruit ingredients - natural sugars, organic acids, mineral substances, pectin, fibre, and of course vitamins. Juice producers receive the concentrate in hermetic barrels in order to preserve their flavour and prevent from deterioration. By the way, juices diluted from concentrate have the same qualities as those of the fresh squeezed.
Expiry Date
Due to wiping out micro-organisms during the processing and the aseptic packaging system, the juice remains fresh for up to two years in a closed package. Open package should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 3 days.
Energy Value
The energy value is measured in kilocalories (kcal). A person, taking into account the gender, height and physical activity, must take 1200 to 3000 kcal per day. The juice has low calorie content, because it contains up to 90% water depending on the type of juice.
Fat
Fat is necessary for every living organism. They supply energy, but in a more concentrated form than carbohydrates or proteins.
Glucose-Fructose Syrup
In the process of production Gutta does not use sugar, but glucose-fructose syrup. Fructose is a fruit sugar – the sweetest of the natural sugars. It particularly enhances the flavour of fruit and berries. Glucose and fructose syrup production is based on barley, wheat or corn starch. Glucose and fructose syrup is mainly used to improve the taste of beverages.
Juice Drink
Juice drink contains the same juice, but the concentrate is at a lower dose, usually - 15%.
Mineral Substances
The most important mineral of juices is magnesium that is involved in more than 300 metabolic reactions. Juices also contain calcium, potassium and other mineral substances.
Nectar
Nectar is a product that contains juice and not less than 25% content of fruit. The percentage of fruit content in nectar is strictly regulated, indicated in the European Directive and depending on the taste of the fruit it can vary from 25 - 50% or more. Thus, nectar may be described as a diluted juice, but in order to improve its taste it is allowed to use also sweeteners and acidity regulators in the production. Usually nectars are produced of fruit, the juice of which is too bitter or sour to enjoy undiluted with water. Nectar is recommended for people that consider 100% juice too strong.
Packaging
Juice is protected by six packaging layers of a tetra-pack that consist of polyethylene, paper and aluminium foil. The packaging of the product is designed so that it would prevent from the harmful factors of the environment - bacteria, light, oxygen and undesirable aromas.
Preservatives
Preservatives are substances that prolong the period of food retention, protecting it from deterioration caused by microorganisms. The use of preservatives is necessary when no other types of product treatment can be used in order to ensure its retention throughout the period of implementation. Gutta juices have no added preservatives.
Protein
Protein is the most important component of the cells in living organisms. They are responsible for every reaction of a human body.
Pasteurization
To store juice for a longer time, it requires pasteurization: juice first is heated to a temperature of 98 degrees and then rapidly cooled in 30 seconds. This is the best time and temperature, which destroys microorganisms that adversely affect the juice and a human body does not need.
Shake Before Use
It is recommended to shake the pack of juice before use to mix the juice well with the fruit pulp in it.
Vitamins
Vitamins are biologically active substances that ensure a normal body growth and development, optimal metabolic processes, as well as strengthening of the immune system. The human body itself does not produce or produce insufficiently most of the vitamins, so they must be taken together with food. Juices contain a high level of vitamins, the most popular - A, B, C and K. Each vitamin performs a certain function, but all together they provide the life processes of the human body.
